Lorena Susan Bolinger

Mrs. Lorena Susan Bolinger, age 77, of McLouth, KS died Friday Aug. 11, 1989, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 15, 1912, at Lebanon, MO the daughter of James Lorene and Amanda Susan West Conrad.

She had lived in the McLouth and Oskaloosa communities the past 11 years. She and her husband served churches in Colorado, Wyoming, Missouri and Kansas.

She was a member of the Countryside Baptist Church at McLouth.

She married The Rev. Fred Bolinger March 14, 1935, at Ft. Scott, KS. He survives.

Other survivors include: three sons, Donald F. Bolinger, McLouth, KS, Charles E. Bolinger, McLouth, KS, and James R. Bolinger, McLouth, KS; one daughter, Mary Virginia Harsha, Rock Springs, Wyo.; a twin sister, Jean Kennedy, Wichita, KS; and 12 grandchildren.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Countryside Baptist Church. Burial was in the McLouth Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the church.
