Robert Canaday, 76, retired Vice President of Military Sales for McDonnell Douglas Co., died May 9, 1944, at Rancho Mirage, Calif. He was Douglas Aircraft's sales director for combat aircraft for many years, and introduced the Douglas manufactured A 4 Skyhawk jet fighter to many foreign air forces.
A native of Casper, he is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Agnew Canaday, a native of Lusk; his son, Robert, Jr.; daughter, Mardi Carl; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
