Fred Bensch dies

Former Lance Creek resident Fred E. Bensch died April 30 in Denver. He was born Sept 23, 1912. Services were in Denver. The family lived in Lance Creek where he worked for Fred W. McNeil in the early 1950's. He was a nephew of Louise McNeil, who now resides in Douglas.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia, and a daughter, Freida Nevison, both of Denver. Don Emery was among those attending the services.
