Mrs. William Intveen, 68, of Glenrock and formerly of Lusk, died Saturday in the Natrona Memorial hospital from a heart condition. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Baptist Community Church in Glenrock with Rev. a. G. Johnson of Casper officiating. Interment services were held at 2:30 p.m. from the Peet Chapel with burial in the Lusk Cemetery.

Dick Brubaker of Glenrock was soloist for both services. Sue Crites of Glenrock was organist.

Pallbearers at Glenrock were August Teck, Fred Pohler, Frank Popp. B. G. Rock, Art Gudmundson and Harold Bailey. Active pallbearers at Lusk were Nick Kaan, Menno Kaan, Roy McLain, W. S. Tyrrel, Martin Glandt and Emil Klemke. Honorary pallbearers were T. A.. Godfrey, c. E. Marvin, C. W. Irwin, Hans Gautschi, Stanley Hoy and H. J. Templeton.

Amanda Owen was born at Ute, Iowa, December 30, 1890, the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. P. Owens. She married William Intveen of Clearwater, Nebr., at Ute July 15, 1908. they made their home at Clearwater until March 1, 1911 at which time they located on a homestead south of Lusk, living there until 1926. At this time the family moved to Lusk and lived here until 1935 at which time they moved to Glenrock, where they have since made their home.

They were the parents of two daughters, Marguerite who died in 1936 at the age of 25, and Dorothy, Mrs. Lloyd Bowman, now living in Casper. Mrs. Intveen was a member of the Glenrock Baptist Ladies Aid, Episcopal Guild, Legion Auxiliary and Womans Club. Mr. and Mrs. Intveen celebrated their Golden Wedding July 20, 1958 in Glenrock.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Bowman; one sister, Mrs. Albert Ketlesen, Mapleton, Ia.; six brothers, Hugo W. Owens, Gus A. Owens, Mapleton; H. C. Owens, Otto Owens , Los Angeles, Calif., P. J. Owens and Andy Owens of Lusk. A granddaughter, Linda also survives.
