Isabelle Benson Dies in Oregon

Isabelle Benson, 75, of Woodburn, Ore., died October 20 in a Portland nursing home.

Mrs. Benson was born in Harrison, Neb. She came to Woodburn in 1934 and was a retired cannery worker. She was a member of the Lutheran church.

Surviving are daughters Karien Benson, Portland, Ruby Toliver, Willimina, and Delores Cruzan, LaGrande; mother Emma Engebretsen, brothers Carl and John all of Harrison, Floyd of Keeline Wyo., and Morris Engebretsen, Loveland, Colo.; sister Helen of Harrison; and one granddaughter.

Rev. Roy Johnson conducted the service on October 24 at 10:30 a.m., with interment at Belle Passi Cemetery.
