Mrs. Don Paisley Dies Here Thurs. After Long Ilness

Funeral services were conducted from the Peet Chapel Sunday afternoon at 2:30 for Elsie Edith Paisley, 57, who died at the Manring Convalescent Home in Lusk after a lingering illness at 6:15 p.m. Sept 24.

The Rev. Raymond P. Hoffman, St George's Episcopal Church officiated. Music was provided by Mrs. Emerson Bonner and Miss Phyllis Johns who sang "In The Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross" with Rex Yocum organist.

Burial was made in the Lusk Cemetery. Casket bearers were Menno Kaan, Harry Cornell, Ray Freeman, Ralph Larson, John Siemsen and Lee Penn.

Members of the Theta Rho Girls attended the service in a body.

Elsie Edith Humphrey was born Jan. 6, 1896, at Burton, Neb. to Amanda and Judson J. Humphrey. In 1914 she came to Wyoming and was married to Alpha Donald Paisley April 30, 1915. They homesteaded that same year on the Divide and in 1924 moved to their ranch near Node.

She is survived by her husband, Donald and four children; Don Richard of Casper, Garry Douglas of Laramie, Wyoma Ione Siemsen, and Donna Elsie of Lusk. Other survivors are four brothers and four sisters; Mrs. Nellie Bills, of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Enie DeWitt and Mrs. Fern Curtis of Douglas, and Mrs. Louise Hogmire of Sandpoint, ida., Pat Humphrey and Oliver Humphrey of Culver, Ore. Chet Humphrey of Douglas and Charlie Humphrey of Node. There are four grandchildren.
