Edith Phillips, 68, Dies Aug. 31

Mrs. Edith May Phillips. 68, a resident of Lusk for 21 years, died of pneumonia at the Spencer Hospital last Wednesday evening. She had been in failing health the past several months and had been taken to the hospital a week before her death.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Peet Chapel with Dallas Swisher of Casper in charge. Mrs. Emerson Bonner and Mrs. Edna DeCastro sang "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" and "Near The Cross." Mrs. J. P. Watson was organist. Pallbearers were C. E. Marvin, Art Mahnke, Floyd Simon, Russell Simon, Clair Lee and William Kerstner.

Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.
