Mrs. Allbright Dies; Services Are Held Today
Mrs. Jennie Allbright, 79, died at the home of her son, Oliver, at 1:00 a.m. Tuesday from the infirmities of old age. Funeral services are being held from the Peet Chapel at 2:30 p.m. this Thursday.
The Rev. Orlis Shroyer, former Lusk Church of God minister, now of Greybull, is officiating at the service. Pallbearers were Burr Bryant, Fred Bryant, Earl Jensen, Orville Allbright, Dale Allbright and Harold Allbright.
Mrs. Emerson Bonner and Mrs. A.F. DeCastro sang "In the Garden" and "Beyond the Sunset". Mrs. J.P. Watson is organist.
Jennie Isabelle Smith was born to Mr. and Mrs. Allen Smith in Belle Plaine, Iowa June 4, 1883. In 1895 the family moved to Broken Bow, Neb. On November 12, 1904 she and William Marshall Allbright were married. They came to Wyoming in 1927 and she has lived here ever since.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Eunice Roberts, Santa Monica, Calif., Mrs. Mae Prescott, HIllsboro, Ore., Mrs. Katherine Erickson, Mrs. Betty Jensen, Hat Creek; one son, of Lusk; two sisters, Mrs. Rodha McFarlane, Santa Monica, Calif., Mrs. Nellie Bruce, Portland, Ore.; 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
