Dale Quick cf Manville Dies In Cheyenne

Dale D. Quick, 46, of Manville, died Thursday a DePaul Hospital in Cheyenne from cancer. Funeral services were held Monday at 2:00 p.m. from Peet Chapel with Rev. David Becknel officiating. Burial was in the Lusk cemetery.

Mrs. A.F. DeCastro and Mrs. Floyd Alexander sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "The Old Rugged Cross." Mrs. J. P. Watson was organist.

Active pallbearers were Dick Ladwig, Dick Kleine, Floyd Engebretsen, Phillip Werner, N.V. Lamb and Aaron C. Faye. Honorary pallbearers were Burt Kaper, William McKenzie, Melvin Nelson, Clifford Parmely, Floyd Alexander, and Doyle Blackmore.

Dale DeForest Quick was born January 29,. 1913 at Long Pine, Nebr. Here he grew to manhood coming to Wyoming in 1936 where he was employed by J.M. Huber Company at Lance Creek.

September 29, 1937 he married Eda Lane Pinkerton. They were the parents of three children, Donald Dale, Wilbur Leroy and Nancy Irene. The family made their home on a ranch near Manville.

Survivors besides his immediate family include a brother Richard S. Quick, San Pedro, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Doris Nason, Gering, Nebr. His parents, William S. and Nancy Ann Quick and one brother, DeWilson previously died.
