Mary Slater's Sister Dies of Fall Injuries
Miss Mary Slater received word the past week of the death of her sister, Mrs. Harlan Crowell, of Olympia, Wash.
Although Mrs. Crowell had been in poor health for several years, her death was attributed to complications which resulted from a fractured hip which she sustained in a recent fall.
Mrs. Crowell has visited in Lusk a number of times before the death of her father, the late John Slater.
Miss Mary Slater was unable to go to Washington at this time but visited her sister last fall.
The remains were cremated at Seattle and Miss Slater thought it likely they would be brought back to Nebraska for burial.
