Jessie Grant Hakalo

Services for Jessie Grant Hakalo were held September 19, 1988, in Casper.

Mrs. Hakalo died Sept. 16, 1988, at Wyoming Medical Center. She was born May 12, 1905, to Walter and Cora (Lundy) Grant in Baxter, Jasper County, Iowa, where she received her early education.

The family moved to Wyoming in 1919. She attended high school at Jireh College, a defunct boarding school in eastern Wyoming which was sponsored by churches to provide a school for Christian young people. The school closed in the spring of 1920 and she graduated from Glenrock High School in 1922.
