Funeral Service Held for Frank D. Wooten Tuesday

Funeral services were held at the Peet Chapel in Lusk Tuesday afternoon, May 3, for Frank D. Wooten who has made his home in Lusk for the greater part of the past year with his daughter. Mrs. George Hardman and family.

Rev. Lawrence P. Juell officiated at the service and the songs "More Love to Thee" and “Ivory Palaces” were sung as duets by Mrs. H.J. Templeton and Mrs. A. F. DeCastro, with Mrs. J.P. Watson as accompanist.

Interment was made in the Lusk cemetery and casket bearers were Morris Avery and Carl Nyberg of Basin, Wyo., and Robert Hardman, James Fagan, Frank Long and Ray Jenkins of Lusk.

Frank D. Wooten, son of John and Susie Wooten, was born in Kansas March 25, 1880. When he was a small child the family moved to Montrose, Colorado where he received his education and grew to manhood.

In 1914 he moved with his family to Riverton, Wyoming where he resided until four years ago when he moved to Basin and the past year to Lusk.

Mr. Wooten was a member of the Elk Lodge in Casper, Wyo.

The survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Loraine Hardman, Lusk, Wyo., and Mrs. Irene Rahtz, Rocklin, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Lily Gage, Price, Utah; Mrs. Linnie Gibbons, Montrose. Colo.; Mrs. Lucille Walts, Red Bluff, Calif., and Mrs. Mildred Justison, San Francisco, Calif., and two brothers, Henry and Bert, both of Tulare, Calif., and five grandchildren.

His daughter, Mrs. Rahtz of Rocklin, Calif., was among those out of town here for the funeral services.
