Father of Culver Brothers Dies Fri.

James Morton Culver, father of Lafe Culver, Sr., and W.W. (Buck) Culver, both of Lusk, died at the Memorial hospital in Casper on Friday night, April 7, after a lingering illness.

Mr. Culver was born in Iowa in 1874. He moved to Yates Center, Kansas, with his parents in l898 and while there met and married Hattie Pickering.

They came to Wyoming in 1921 and located in Casper where they have since resided.

Surviving is his widow and five sons, Lafe and W. W. (Buck) of Lusk, Duff and Pat of Casper and Leon of San Diego, Calif. A sixth son died in infancy. He was also survived by three brothers. L.O. Culver and Elmer Culver of Denver and A.A. Culver of Casper, a sister, Mrs. A.J. Derby of Denver, 23 grandchildren and six great grandchilden.

The funeral services were held on Monday, April 10 at the Bustard Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack B. Reeve, pastor of the
First Christian church officiating. Interment was in the Highland cemetery at Casper.

Attending the services from Lusk were Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Culver, Mr. and Mrs. Lafe Culver, Sr., Lafe Culver, Jr., Aaron, Dennis and Tommy Culver, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Malborg and Mrs. Alice Nesthus.

A.A. CULVER DIES WEDNESDAY MORNING
Word was phoned to Lusk relatives at five o'clock Wednesday morning that A.A. Culver of Casper had died of a heart attack. He was a brother of the late J.M. Culver and suffered the attack when his brother died last Friday. Funeral arrangements are incomplete as The Herald goes to press.
