Don Kindle

Don Kindle, 39, of Pine Bluffs, died Feb. 17, 2008, at a medical center in Abilene, Texas.

Born in Glasgow, Montana on March 26, 1968, Don was reared in Lusk. He was employed as a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Becky Kindle of Pine Bluffs; mother, Janet Kindle of Yuma, Ariz.; father and stepmother, Raymond and Rosalie Kindle of Cheyenne; grandmother, Nellie Spencer of Yuma, Ariz.; brother, John Urbin of Grand Junction, Colo.; and sister, Stacie York of Lowell, Ark.

Services will be held at a later date. Local arrangements are being made by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory in Abilene.

Don Kindle


Don Kindle, age 39, passed away Feb. 17, 2008 in the Hendrick Trauma Center in Abilene, Texas of septic shock from undiscovered Pancreatitis. A celebration of life service will be held on April 26, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the Four Winds Golf Course in Kimball, Neb. Anyone who wishes to attend will be welcome.

Don was born in Glasgow, Mont., lived as a small child in Malta, Mont., and later in Lusk, where he graduated from high school in 1986. He joined the Army at the age of 19 and served four and half years in the US Army as an electronic technician. During his time of service he was stationed in Fort Devens, Mass., Camp Humphrey’s, South Korea and Vint Hill Farms, Va. For the last 13 years he and his wife have been driving a semi as an over-the-road team. Ten of those years they were owners of the truck they operated. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife Becky Kindle, Father and step-mother Raymond and Rosalie Kindle of Cheyenne, Mother Janet Kindle of Yuma, Ariz., Sister Stacie Kindle of Lowell, Ark., brother John Urbin of Grand Junction, Colo. as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and more friends than can be counted.
