Wm. L. Welch Dies Wednesday Morning

William Lee Welch, 98, died at the Spencer Hospital Wednesday morning, June 24, at 8:45 from the effects of a cerebral hemorrhage suffered some time previous and he had been a patient in the hospital for the past three weeks.

Mr. Welch came to Wyoming about 25 years ago and located in the Lance Creek vicinity. Some 12 years ago he moved into Lusk and has since resided in the north part of town.

A sister, Mrs. Harriet M. Roundtree, of Loma Linda, Calif., has been here with a brother for several days.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Peet Chapel on Friday afternoon, June 26, at 2:00 o'clock.
