Obituary
Mrs. John D. Williams

Armintha Nora Boyles was born in Guthrie County, Iowa, March 7, 1877. She passed away at the Lusk Hospital December 4, 1929, at the age of 52 years, 8 months and 27 days.

Funeral services were held at the Kirtley Hall last Saturday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, with interment in the Kirtley cemetery. Rev. B. F. Farrar of the Lusk Baptist Church officiated, and arrangements were in charge of George Earl Peet of the Peet mortuary of Lusk.

The pallbearers were J. J. ZumBrunnen, H. P. Fancher, John Lohr, Harley Lohr, L. L. Wilson and L. W. Crane.

She was united in marriage on December 31, 1897, to John D. Williams at the home of her mother, near Anita, Iowa. Five children were born to this union: Grace, Leonard and Amil, who survive her death, and Charlie and Gladys Marie, who died in infancy.

The family moved here in 1900, and homesteaded 17 miles northwest of Harrison, and near Kirtley, where she lived until the time of her death.

She was a devoted wife and a kind and loving mother, an honest friend and a true neighbor to all. She became a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Kirtley in the year of 1905. She was a very active person at all meetings held there.

Her father, two sisters, three brothers and a baby son and daughter preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, three children, Mrs. Grace Kistler, Leonard and Amil; three grandchildren, Dale, Basil and Donald Williams; her mother, Mrs. Mary J. Boyles; four brothers, Oscar and Walt of Casper, Wyo., and Roy and Hill of Kirtley; two sisters, Mrs. J. H. Christian and Mrs. F. H. Church, of Kirtley. Also a host of close relatives and dear friends.

Rev. Farrar delivered a very comforting sermon and music was furnished by a quartet, composed of Mrs. Farrar, Irline Frances, Mrs. Avery Smith and Rev. Farrar. Mrs. Frank Combs was accompanist.
