Nephew of Mrs. Hogan killed in Italy

Word has been received in Lusk that a nephew of Mrs. Augusta Hogan has been reported killed in Italy.

The message stated that 1st Lt. Charles R. Scoggin, 29, was killed in action at the Anzio beachhead, near Rome, February 2nd.

Lt. Scoggin's wife, the former Miss Charlene Knudson of Goodland, Kansas, has visited Mrs. Hogan when she lived in Lusk and is known to many friends here.
