David Wilson

(Date Unknown - 1943)

Johnny & Margaret Thon Files
1944

Nearly a year ago a plane disappeared while flying over a Georgia swamp, and in the plane was David Wilson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wilson, formerly of Lance Creek, but now residing in Cheyenne.

Scouting planes searched the swamp for many weeks but were never able to find any trace of the missing ship, and its lone occupant.

Young Wilson was taking his pilot training when the tragedy occurred and the government has now sent his parents official notification of his death.
