Mrs. Rebecca Baker Dies In Nebraska
Mrs. Rebecca Baker died at her home at Sidney, Nebr. Mar. 6, according to word received here, with funeral services and burial being held in Sidney Mar. 9.
Miss Rebecca Doran came to Lusk as a young woman to teach school in the early 1900's and after teaching for a year or two was married to Nat Baker, mayor and one of the town's most prominent citizens.
They continued to live in Lusk for many years and Mr. Baker died here a number of years ago, then Mrs. Baker returned to her old home at Sidney where she has since resided.
Besides her husband, preceding her in death was a son, Charles Baker, a stepson, Nat Baker, Jr., and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Leona Cullen.
She is survived by a son, Jack, and a granddaughter, Miss Cordell Ann Cullen, of Casper.
