Robert Ruda Dies Of Heart Attack
Robert J. Ruda died about 9:00 Wednesday morning. He had been shoveling snow from the sidewalks and returned to shovel to the basement, then stopped to visit with a friend when he suffered a heart attack.

Robert J. Ruda Funeral Held In Lusk Saturday
The Rev. Roger Koen conducted funeral services for Robert J. Ruda in the Peet Chapel Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
Mr. Ruda, 72, died November 21 of a heart attack.
Mrs. J.P. Watson, organist, accompanied Mrs. Emerson Bonner and Mrs. A. F. DeCastro as they sang "We Are Going Down the Valley," and "The Old Rugged Cross."
Active pallbearers were Kenneth Hughes, Edward Hughes, Gilbert Hughes, Elmer Johnson, Harold Kness and Henry Hytrek.
Honorary pallbearers were Woodson Graham, Joseph Weimer, Fred Hansen, Martin Glandt, Art Whelan and Joe McConaughey.
Robert Joseph Ruda, son of Joseph and Antonia Ruda, was born in Bohemia September 21, 1890. He came to the United States at the age of seven years and lived in Boyd County, Nebraska until 1928.
On February 2, 1925 he was married to Carrie Hughes of Randolph, Neb., and they made their home in Lynch, Neb., for four years. They moved to Wyoming in November 1928 and resided south of Keeline. Later they bought a ranch five miles south of Lusk. In 1949 they bought the apartment house where he resided until death.
Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Marjorie Jefcoat of Torrington; five grandchildren and three great grandchilren; five brothers, Joe of Edgerton, Minn., Rudolph, Harry, Pete and Fred all of Bristow, Neb.; four sisters, Mrs. Ray Long of Lynch, Neb., Mrs. Elizabeth Hegberg of Bristow, Mrs. L. V. Hanel of Omaha, and Mrs. Elsie Ruda of Columbus, Neb.
