Mrs. Lemons Dies Monday

Mrs. Louis (Ida Mae) Lemons, 53, died Monday in Cheyenne following surgery. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. from the Peet Chapel with the Rev. C. W. Jervis of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Lusk Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Lita Helvey of Sheridan; one son, Earnest Lemons of Lusk; and six grandchildren.

Last Rites Held For Mrs. Lemons

Funeral services were held last Thursday for Mrs. Louie Lemons, 53, who died August 10 in Cheyenne following surgery. Services were conducted in the Peet Chapel, with the Rev. C. W. Jervis of the First Baptist Curch officiating. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Mrs. Lyle Eddy sang, "The Lord's Prayer" and she and Mrs. Emerson Bonner sang "In the Garden". Mrs. A. F. DeCastro was the organist.

Pallearers were: C. V. Payne, Joe Jones, Jack Bejino, Robert Rockney, Floyd Nagel and Earnest Bartow.

Honorary pallbearers were: W. L. Klemke, L. T. Boner, Ralph Berg, Leo Bible, Richard Clark and Allie Donaughey.

Ida Mae Elliott was born September 10, 1910 at Palmer, Okla., the daughter of Henry M. and Mary A. Elliott. She attended schools at Palmer and Scullin, Okla. She and Louie E. Lemons were married June 24, 1928 at Scullin. In 1952 the family came to Wyoming and later operated the Northside Cafe.

She is survived by her husband, Louie; one son, Earnest Lemons of Lusk; one daughter, Mrs. Leta Jo Helvey of Sheridan; two brothers, L. R. Elliott of Claremore, Okla., and James H. Elliott of Greenville, Tex.; and six grandchildren.
