Patricia I. Martin

Patricia I. Martin, 69, of Inwood, WV, died Thursday, March 15, 2001, in Winchester Medical Center.

Born May 20, 1931, in Gore, Virginia, she wwas the daughter of the late George Loring Gore and Gladys Himmelwright Gore.

She was a cosmetologist and was employed for twenty years with Bender's Beauty Salon in Martinsburg.

She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Martinsburg.

She is surived by her husband, Garland S. Martin, at home, one son and daughter-in-law, G. Steven Martin and Neile G. Martin of Winchester, Virginia, one daughter and son-in-law, Susan Garrett and Robbie Garrett of Martinsburg, four grandchildren Kelly Garrett, Leslie Garrett, Maggie Martin and Emma Martin, one brother, Thomas Gore of Martinsburg, two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mildred and Paul Pierce of Martinsburg, Marie McBee of Fort Pierce, Florida and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers; Stewart, Preston and James Gore.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2001 at 2 PM at the Second Baptist Church, Martinsburg, WV with Rev. Troy Mays officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood, WV on Friday, March 16, 2001, from 7 to 9 PM.
