Mrs. Hans Meng Funeral Services To Be Saturday

Following a lingering illness, Mrs. Hans Meng passed away at the Lusk hospital on November 17th. Mrs. Meng was brought in to Lusk from her ranch home on Old Woman Creek at Red Bird, when her condition became suddenly acute.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at two o'clock at the Peet Funeral chapel, with Father Roderick officiating. Mrs. Meng is survived by her husband and two children and a number of other relatives, several of whom are expected from distant points to attend the funeral.

Mrs. Meng was the daughter of Merton Jones, who engaged in the ranch business with Merit Taylor on the Taylorville Ranch, northwest of Lance Creek for many years. She has lived in this community most of her life.

A more complete account of Mrs. Meng's life will be given in next week's edition of the Herald.
