Robert F. "Bob" Hardman

Funeral services for Robert F. "Bob" Hardman, 78, former Lusk resident (were) April 26, 1997, at the Bader Funeral Home in Lusk with the Rev. Mark Lohr officiating. Burial followed in the Lusk Cemetery.

He died April 22, 1997, in Craig, Colo.

He was born July 30, 1918, in Crawford, Neb., to Boone and Rose Hardman. He spent his childhood in Crawford and attended high school there. He married Mable "Babe" Sides in 1939 in Harrison, Neb.

He worked for 11 years for Niobrara Rural Electric in Lusk and in 1962 moved to Craig, where he was a line supervisor for 20 years at Yampa Valley Electric in Craig.

He was a WWII veteran. He was a charter member of Lusk Elks Lodge #1797 in Lusk, and was a Veterans of Foreign Wars member. He also loved fishing and dancing.

Survivors include his wife of Craig; brother John Hardman of Casper, sisters Nina Swan of Phoenix, Ariz., and Evelyn Hartness of Gothenburg, Neb.
