Mrs. Bean Dies Sunday; Services Held Thursday

Mrs. Martha Jane Bean, 69, mother of Mrs. Ona Dalton of Lusk, died Sunday evening at the Niobrara Memorial Hospital of a cerebral hemorrhage.

Mrs. Bean, whose home was in Cheyenne, has been in ill health for several years. Two weeks ago she came to Lusk to be with her daughter and was taken to the hospital Friday.

She has been active for years in the First Christian Church of Cheyenne and is also a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

Funeral services are being held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the Schrader Funeral Home in Cheyenne with Rev. Bell of the First Christian Church officiating.

Surviving besides Mrs. Dalton are five sons: Roscoe of Riverton; John I., Joe I., Bradford H. and Richard H., all of Cheyenne. Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters: Enoch Hughes and Mrs. Sally Morris of Bakersfield, Mo.; Mrs. Rachel White of Paoli, Okla., and Sidney Hughes of Strafford, Mo.
