Veteran Dies in Auto Accident

The many friends here of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bartels of Parkerton were shocked to hear of the sudden death of their son, Leroy Perkins, Sunday. Lt. Perkins had just returned from overseas duty and was home on a visit prior to his immediate discharge. He was killed in an auto accident two miles from his home. He leaves a wife and small daughter. Mr. Bartels is the superintendent for the Continental at the Big Muddy field at Parkerton.
