Mother of Mrs. Peet Dies in Cheyenne
Mrs. Ella Laverty, mother of Mrs. George Earl Peet and Miss Vera Laverty, former teacher in Lusk High School, passed away at the latter's home in Cheyenne on July 4th, at the advanced age of 82 years.
Mrs. Laverty's home has been in Hitchcock, So. Dak., for more than fifty years, but due to her advanced age and infirmities, it has been necessary for her to live with her daughter in Cheyenne. Besides her two daughters she is survived by one son, Earl, of Hitchcock, and three grandchildren, including Mary Agnes Laverty who resides in the Peet home in Lusk, Virginia and Bernard Laverty of Portland Oregon.
Funeral services were held in Hitchcock on Sunday, July 7th.
