DEATH CLAIMS FOUR IN MANVILLE THIS WEEK
Four times during the past week has the angel of death entered the city making a total of ten deaths during the past two weeks, a number which surpasses any previous number of fatalities during so short a time...
Florence and Walter Spellman
Among the saddest of events which have occurred in this city for some time was the deaths last Saturday of Miss Florence Lida Spellman aged 5 and Walter Edwin Spellman, aged 2 last Sunday. Whooping cough and influenza caused the death of these dear little children and their departure from this world brings added grief to the family who but a short time ago were brought to mourn the loss of two brothers, both dying in army camps of this same dreaded disease. The grief stricken parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Spellman have been quite sick but are now improving and great hopes are held that they will soon be well.
