Oscar H. Boyles Dies at Casper

Oscar H. Boyles, 59, one of the early pioneers of Natrona county and well known stockman died early Saturday morning at Memorial hospital in Casper after a brief illness. Tularemin (Tularemia) was reported as the cause of his death.

Born in Audabon county, Iowa, January 19, 1884, Mr. Boyles came to Wyoming in a covered wagon while a young child and has made his home here ever since. When a young man he entered the sheep and cattle raising business in the Poison Spider country and is well known throughout central Wyoming.

In addition to his wife and his daughter Dorothy of Casper, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary James Boyles of Van Tassell; two sisters, Mrs. James Christian, Harrison and Mrs. Francis Church, Kirtley; three brothers, Walter Boyles, Casper, Hilburn Boyles, Van Tassell and Roy Boyles of Lusk.

Funeral services were held at Casper Monday afternoon, with the Rev. G. Henry Green, pastor of the Presbyterian church officiating. Interment was made in the Highland cemetery.
