LeRoy Johnson Passes Away At His Home Here, Wednesday
LeRoy Johnson, 49, passed away at his home in Lusk about two-thirty Wednesday morning, following a long illness from a heart ailment.
Roy Johnson, as he was familiarly known, served as a marine in the last World War and came to Lusk shortly after receiving his discharge. During the years he has resided here he made a large circle of friends who held him in high esteem.
He was employed as brakeman on the chicago and Northwestern railroad for a number of years, until poor health forced him to give up such strenuous work.
LeRoy thomas Johnson was born in Oakdale, Wis., Jan. 9th, 1894 and came to Wyoming in 1919. He is survived by his wife, Lila, to whom he was married in 1925.
Funeral services will be held from the Peet Mortuary, but the exact time and date have not been set, pending word from distant relatives.
