Former Node Youth Killed in Action

T/S Harold L. Grout, formerly of Node, Wyo., was reported missing last August and then in November his wife, who resides at Firth, Idaho, received a telegram stating that he had been killed in action, but no other details were given. Besides his wife he leaves two small children. Mrs. Henry Ruffing of Hat Creek is a sister and another sister, Mrs. Hazel Cooper, resides at Hawk Springs, Wyo.

The Grout family formerly lived in the Node community and Technician Grout was a student of the Lusk High School. He was serving with the engineers in France when he was killed.
