Charles H. Kabler of Tulsa, Okla.passed on May 3, 2008. Chuck was born on March 19, 1933 to Charles and Bernice Hoblit Kabler in Casper, Wyo. Upon high school graduation Chuck served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. After his time in Korea he played minor league baseball for the Cinncinati Reds organization, the Ogden Reds. His baseball career was cut short due to an injury. He then moved to Tulsa and enrolled at the University of Tulsa where he was part of the first Petroleum Marketing graduating class in 1961. Chuck continued to support his alma mater by being a football season ticket holder through the 2007/2008 season.

After graduation he worked in the oil and gas industry for over 45 years living in Houston, Chicago, Calgary, Alberta, Midland and finally Tulsa.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Othanna "Jo" Kabler, his son Brence "Kip" Kabler, daughter in law Kelli Kabler and grandchildren Kaslin and Clay.
