Brother-in-Law of Mrs. Herman Hitz Dies

William Oates of Spearfish, S.D., brother-in-law of Mrs. Herman Hitz of Lusk, died Thursday, September 29, of a heart attack, at a Rapid City hospital.

Funeral services were held in the Spearfish Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. Sunday. Interment was in the Lead cemetery, at Lead, S.D.

Mrs. Hitz and her two sons, William Oates of Chadron State Teachers College and Sgt. Albert Oates of Cheyenne, attended the funeral.

Mr. Oates was well known in Lusk, having visited here often.
