Patricia Lou (Zimmerman) Irvin passed away at her home in Manville Friday, January 31, 2014. Services will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Pier Funeral Home in Lusk, Wyoming. Viewing will be Tuesday, February 4, 2014.

Patricia was born September 30, 1947 in Lusk, Wyoming to Lawrence Zimmerman and Doris (Peterson) Zimmerman. Patricia grew up in Lusk, Wyoming. She moved to Gillette, Wyoming and graduated from Campbell County High School in 1967. Patricia married George Bramlet Irvin on July 24, 1968 in Boxelder, South Dakota. To this union three children were born: Kristine Lynn Irvin, George Brian Irvin, and Daniel Ryan Irvin.

In 1969, Patricia found her Savior, Lord Jesus Christ. She was baptized September 17, 1972 at the First Christian Church in Gillette.

Patricia’s life was dedicated to her family. She loved quilting, knitting, photography, gardening, and her pets.

Patricia obtained her associates degree in Education from the Western Wyoming Community College.

She was known for her open heart and generosity.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Zimmerman and Doris Zimmerman, and one brother, Larry Zimmerman.

Patricia is survived by her husband, George of Manville; her children, Kristine Lynn Irvin of Lusk, Wyoming, George Brian Irvin of Manville, Wyoming, Daniel Ryan Irvin of Casper, Wyoming; two grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Irvin of Casper, Wyoming and Kevin Joseph Irvin of Puyallup, Washington; and her great-grandson, George Ryan Irvin.
