Geo. McCabe, Former Resident, Passes Away

Word received here last week reported the news of the death of George McCabe, a well known former operator of a dray line in this city who passed away November 1st.

Mrs. Anna Barach received the message from Mrs. Fred McCabe of Granville, No. Dakota, a sister-in-law of the deceased. The cause of his death or where he died was not contained in the message.

Since the early boom days, Mr. McCabe had been a well known resident as well as a successful business man. For the past several years he had been in declining health and this last summer, he decided to move to a brother's home in Montana. Up to the time of his death, very little correspondence was kept through his many friends here in Lusk.
