Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 4, at 1:30 p.m. from the Colyer Funeral Home for William Oscar Browder, 82-year-old Torrington man, who died Thursday, Feb. 2nd, following an illness of several years.
Rev. Richard Scott of Lusk officiated at the services and interment was in Jay Em cemetery.
Mr. Browder was born Nov. 24, 1878 at Albion, Neb., the son of James and Anna Watson Browder. He homesteaded near Van Tassel in 1913 and lived there until 2 Â½ years ago when he moved to Torrington to make his home.
A retired farmer, he had been making his home at the Pioneer Park Home since moving to Torrington.
Survivors include one brother, Gene Browder of Jay Em, and several nieces and nephews.
