Ida Lydia, daughter of G. Klopfer, was born in Peoria, Illinois, January 19, 1900, and died at her home at Node, Wyoming on January 21, 1919, from results of a fall from her horse while riding. Her age was 19 years and two days. Her mother died when she was but four years old. She was taken into the home of her aunt Aline in Fairbury, Illinois where she received most of her education.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Grimm from Elgin, Iowa. Interment was made in the Node cemetery. The deceased leaves to mourn her loss, her father, aunts and grandfather besides a large number of friends.
