- DONALD D. PEET, 80, West Rich Avenue, DeLand, died Thursday, April 6. Mr. Peet was a retired aviation instructor at Seattle Community College. Born in Nebraska, he moved to Central Florida in 1978. He was a member of Plymouth Avenue Christian Church, Masonic Lodge 87, Seattle Commandery 2, DeLand Shrine Club, All Scottish Rite Bodies, Nile Temple, Delta Chapter 109 OES. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors: wife, Flora Lee; daughter, Pearl Dickson, DeLand; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two great great-grandchildren. Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home, DeLand.
