Ralph W Bredthauer passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was 68 years old.

Ralph was born on May 30, 1946 to Wilmer (Bill) and Vera Demmer Bredthauer in Lusk, Wyoming where he completed his education. Ralph enjoyed traveling, and spent time working in Wyoming, Colorado, Alaska, and California before settling back down in Lusk. He once owned his own trucking company in Colorado and continued to drive truck before retiring. In his spare time, he was a mechanic, carpenter, rancher, stock trader, pilot, and jack of all trades. He had a free spirit and wasn't afraid to learn new things. During his youth he was very active in 4-H which gave him many of his learned skills and often talked about his 4-H trip to Chicago. He enjoyed taking his wife and daughter on several of his trucking adventures and especially enjoyed spending time with his daughter Breanna. Together they shared the spirit of new adventures whether on the ranch, the water, or the ski slopes.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Vera and Wilmer Bredthauer. He is survived by his wife Jackie (Burt) Bredthauer, three children, Chris, Bryan, and Breanna, brothers David, Ray, and Charles and their families, numerous nieces and nephews, and four grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, April 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pier Funeral Home. The family wishes to thank all those who have helped them get through these rough times. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to either the Lusk Ambulance Service, The Davis Hospice Center or to the family to help defray medical expenses.
