Gerald D. Lincoln of Waupaca, Wisconsin, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at home with his family. He was born in Jireh, Wyoming on December 8, 1930 to the late Aaron and Helen (Trimmer) Lincoln. Jerry was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the Army.

He will be sadly missed by his wife: Shirley and son: Scott Lincoln, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren other relatives and friends.

The Funeral Service will be on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. The visitation will be on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

Gerald Lincoln, of Wisconsin died April 22, 2015 and services with military honors were held April 26, at Maple Crest Funeral Home in Waupaca, Wisconsin. Lincoln had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. Cremation took place and his cremains will be interred in the Lusk Cemetery on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Tom Strock conducting the service.

Gerald was born in Jireh and his family moved to Lusk, where he received his education, graduating with the Lusk High School Class of 1949. He trained as a printer's devil in the Lusk Herald under the tutelage of longtime revered newspaper man, Gerald Bardo. As a result, Lincoln developed a thriving printing business, which he ran for thirty years before he retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Helen Lincoln, an infant brother, Ronald, and brothers, Keith Lincoln and Larry Lincoln. He is survived by his wife Shirley of 37 years, son Scott of Cheyenne, sisters, Betty Allen of Denver, Colo., Shirley Smith of Denver, Colo. And Linda Bowden of Rock Hill, S.C., nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and several much-loved nieces and nephews.

Friends of Gerald Lincoln, who passed away April 22, 2015 of a heart attack (not the Lou Gehrigs disease he had valiantly endured for several years) are invited to share condolences or light a candle on the Maple Crest Funeral Home of Wisconsin website. Funeral Services were held Sunday, April 26, in Waupaca, Wisc., with a graveside service and interment in Lusk planned for June. Gerald was born in Jireh, and grew up in Lusk, where he received his education. He was a younger brother to Betty Lincoln Allen, who moved with her husband, Bud Allen, to Denver, Colo., last year.
