Died, at the home of her parents in Lusk Thursday night, September 8th, Pearl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. N. Jones, age 14 years. Deceased came here with her parents from Crawford but a few weeks ago and at the time was an invalid, she being in the last stage of consumption. Her remains were put into a casket and taken to Crawford for interment, there to remain until the resurrection morn among her relatives and friends.

We wish to thank the kind friends and neighbors for their kindness to us at the death of our beloved daughter and sister, Pearl. Such kindness to us, although strangers, will ever endear our hearts to the people of Lusk. May God bless each and everyone.

Notes: Pearl's parents were David Nelson Jones and Lillie Cophine Smith. They were married in 1885 in Beloit, Mitchell, Kansas, USA., and Pearl was born there as well. Her mother Lillie Died in Crawford, Dawes, Nebraska August 11, 1898. Her father married Zilphia Wyona Rosa on February 26, 1902 in Lusk, Niobrara County, Wyoming.
