20 Years Ago Today, January 6, 1944

One of eight residents and former residents of Niobrara county, some Pioneers of this section of Wyoming, died during the past week. Included in this number was Mrs. A. M. Clark, wife of Alonzo M. Clark, former Secretary of State and Acting Governor. Both Mrs. Clark and her husband taught in the Lusk schools more than 30 years ago.

Lucy Myra Smith was born Oct. 8, 1869
in Burrows, Mercer County, Missouri, and died Jan. 1, 1944 in Cheyenne, Laramie County, Wyoming.
