Alice R. Cole

Alice R. Cole was born Nov. 15, 1933 at Long Pine, Nebr., the daughter of Clyde and Mary Newcomb. She died May 26, 1984 at Memorial Hospital of Natrona County after a short illness.

She moved to Lusk with her family at the age of 10. In 1979, she moved to Casper and in January, 1984, she moved to Glenrock.

In 1954, she married Byron Allen Davis. They were divorced in 1973. On June 10, 1977 she married Michael Eugene Cole. He preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her father Clyde Newcomb, and two brothers, Herman and Fred Newcomb.

Survivors include four sons, Tracy Allen Davis and Rick Thompson, Glenrock; Roland Davis, Casper, and Bill Thompson, Rapid City, S. Dak.; three daughters, Dee Dee Davis, Glenrock, Emma Davis, Casper, and Linda Woodard, Williams, Ariz.; her mother, Mary Newcomb, Lusk; two sisters, Irene Urie, Twin Falls, Idaho, and Velma Brinkerhoff, Lusk; five brothers, Albert Newcomb, Omak, Wash., Andy Newcomb, Lusk, Carl Newcomb, Mokena, Ill., Dean Newcomb, John Day, Ore., and Earl Newcomb, Glenwood Springs, Colo.; 13 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were at Lusk Cemetery at 10 a.m., Friday, June 1, 1984 with the Rev. Roy Howell officiating. Pallbearers were Joe Andrews, Johnny Thon, George Dixon, Chip Jensen, Junior Cole and Everett Kilmer

Arrangements were by Peet Mortuary.
