Russell Burns is dead at 68

Russell L. Burns, 68, died Tuesday morning in a hospital in Greeley, Colo. Prior to moving to the Greeley area in 1952 he ranched in the Lusk area. He is a brother of Genevieve (Mrs. Richard) Heine of southwest of Lusk.

Burns was born in Holyoke, Colo., January 12, 1913, the son of Samuel and Pauline (Rogers) Burns.

Funeral service is set for this Friday afternoon at the Chapel of Macey
Allnutt Mortuary in Greeley.

Survivors include sons Ronald of Plattville, Delmar of Nunn and Terry of Timnath Colo.; sisters, Mrs. Heine, Fern Corn, Cheyenne, and Frances Carlson, Black Duck, Minn.; Brother Roger of Toronto, Kan.; and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
