Cathryn Culver Dies Monday

Cathryn Culver, 74, died Monday. She has been a resident of Lusk since 1942.

Mark Lohr will conduct the service. Organist will be Jane Bardo. Marilyn Cockerham and Al Davenport will sing "In the Garden" and "All the Way My Savior Leads Me."

Casket bearers are Ira Lamb, Ted Lohr, Leroy Redfield, Hobart Cockerham, R. C. Bafford, and Randall Cockerham.

Honorary bearers are Don Taylor, C. E. Marvin, Bill Miller, Lee Johnsonbaugh and Gerald Bardo.

Cathryn Rose Culver was born to Mr. and Mrs. Will E. Ferrell, January 6, 1902, in Lander, the fifth child of the family. She attended Lander and Edna, Kan. Schools. Later she received nurses training at the Southeast Kansas Hospital in Coffeyville,

She and Lafe E. Culver were married on February 25, 1921, in Independence, Kan. After their marriage they moved to Casper in the spring of 1921 and lived there until 1932, then the family moved to Rock Springs. In 1942 they moved to Lusk where they have resided ever since. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by her widower, and seven children. Denis Culver of Rock Springs, Lafe F. Culver of Ottumwa, Iowa, Aaron Culver of Cheyenne, Tom Culver of Lyman, Nebr., Mrs. Carl (Fern) Peterson of Lusk, Mrs. C. J. (Carmen) Berta of Rock Springs, Mrs. Kenneth (Paula) Malmborg of Cheyenne; and sisters Alice Nesthus of Lusk, Hilda Bryner of Tulsa, Okla., Hester Hodges of Tyro, Kan., 25 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
