Dorthy Kritner Dies in Nebraska

Funeral services were held at the Peet Mortuary in Lusk for Mrs. Dorthy M. Kritner, 85, of Hay Springs, Nebr., Monday at 2:00 p.m. She died at the Rushville, Nebr., hospital last Thursday, following a short illness.

Ronald Brown, pastor of the Church of Christ of Lusk officiated. Mrs. A. F. DeCastro was organist and she and Mrs. Dean Glandt sang "Abide With Me" and "Rock of Ages."

Casket bearers were A. F. DeCastro, Lafe Culver, Charles Vaughan, Bill Magoon, W. D. Miller and Ira Lamb. Burial was in the Lusk cemetery.

Dorthy M. Meinecks was born March 11, 1882 in York County, Nebr., the daughter of Fred and Katherine Brauz Meinecks. She was a resident of Lusk for many years. More recently her home has been the Pioneer Manor in Hay Springs, Nebr.

Her husband and two children died previously.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Rainey of Lodge Pole Nebr.; and step-children, Myrtle Cantarini, Woodburn, Ore., Henry Milburn, Aurora, Ore., Leonard Milburn, Rushville, Nebr., Mable Scales, Carmichael, Calif., Eldora Freidman, Berkley, Calif., also brothers, sisters, unknown at this time.
