Floyd Nolan Dies In Idaho

Floyd Willard Nolan, 63, died September 20 at Gritman Memorial Hospital in Moscow, Idaho, of a heart ailment. He had been hospitalized for two days.

He was born April 10, 1904, at the homestead home of his parents, Jim and Eva Nolan, northwest of Harrison. The homestead is now part of the Con Jordan ranch.

The family moved to Moscow, Ida. when he was a small boy; he spent most of his life in that area.

He married Alice Norberg at Potlatch, Ida. November 1, 1935. He was a bookkeeper and office manager at Rauch Lumber Co., at Troy, Ida. until he retired in 1965. At the time of his death he was employed at the University of Idaho.

Survivors besides his wife include four sisters, Mrs. Thomas Dowdy of Moscow, Mrs. Carrie Cridlebaugh of Clayton, Wash., and Mrs. Virginia Deblock of Sunnyside, Wash., and Mrs. Delia Kislig of Potlatch, Ida.; one brother, J. Walter Nolan, Chico, Calif. His only son Floyd died at Moscow in July 1966.

Funeral services were held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Moscow with the Rev, Martin Larsen officiating. Burial was in the Moscow cemetery.
