Donald Roberts is Buried Here

Funeral service for Donald Roberts was held at the Peet Chapel Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Roberts died in Las Vegas, Nev., July 10 following an extended illness.

The Rev. Luis Otte, Scottsbluff, conducted the service with Mary Ellen Otte, Scottsbluff, singing "Cleanse Me Oh Lord" and "Until You've Known" accompanied by Mrs. Edna DeCastro, organist.

Casket bearers were Harold Wesley, Jack, Alvin, Larry Roberts and Jim Bower. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Donald Riley Roberts was born April 28, 1929, in Van Tassell, the fourth son of James Edward and Caila Leona Roberts.

He attended the Lusk schools and graduated from Lusk High School. He worked for General Telephone Company for many years.

Survivors are four sisters, Mrs. Margie Wilson, Morton, Mrs. Kathleen Bower, Worland, Mrs. Evelyn Erspamer, Mount Vernon, Wash., and Mrs. Alice Seegrist, Pocatello, Idaho; six brothers, James Ralph, Montclair, Calif., Harold Charles, Boulder City, Nev., Wesley Earl, Apple Valley, Calif., Jack Edward, Las Vegas, Nev., Alvin Fred, Hesperia, Calif., and Larry Gene of Dinuba, Calif. His parents and two brothers died previously.
