Truck Accident Kills Former Area Resident

Mrs. Carl (Noma Jean) Tanner, 44, of Torrington was fatally injured in a truck accident in Ekalaka, Mont., Friday. Funeral Service was held Tuesday at the Church of the Nazarene in Torrington.

The Rev. Charles Gadaw conducted the service with interment at the Valley View Cemetery in Torrington. Arrangements were made by the Sutley Funeral Chapel.

Noma Jean Munsinger was born August 12, 1928, in Combine, Wyo., daughter of Bill and Vera Bird Munsinger. She was educated in the Lance Creek and Lusk schools. Prior to living in Torrington she had resided for a time in Glenrock, Worland and Casper. She has lived in Torrington for the last 15 years and was married Dec. 27, 1967, to Carl Tanner in Basin.

Survivors include her husband Carl of Torrington, two sons Gerald Greenbush of Lyman, Neb., and John W. Greenbush of Texas, two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Verla Jean) McConnell, and Irene Jane Greenbush both of Chesterton, Ind. Other survivors include her parents Mr. and Mrs. Bill Munsinger, five brothers, Robert, Guy, Fred and Roy all of Modesto and John of Spokane, Wash., eight sisters Julie Ferris, Dolly Pavlacky, Helen Munsinger and Birdie Cummings all of Modesto, and Darlene Jones, Anderson, Calif., La Vonna Furl, Sparks, Nev., Mrs. Lillian Brott, Lance Creek and Betty Pavlacky, Gillette, seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
