William (Bill) Paul Craggs

Graveside services for William "Bill" Paul Craggs, 61, of Lusk, were held June 30, 2003, at Black Hills National Cemetery, with Chaplain Moe Greiner officiating, and military honors by the Sturgis Veterans Honor Guard.

Bill Craggs died June 26, 2003, at the Fort Meade VA Medical Center in South Dakota.

Bill was born April 19, 1942, at Boulder, Colo., to Eugene Howard and Myra Eloise Wilson (Plymesser) Craggs.

He grew up in Boulder and graduated from Boulder High School.

Bill married Theresa Marie Desjarlais at May Port, Fla., in 1972.

He served in the United States Navy from 1960 until his honorable discharge in 1986.

Bill's hobbies included rebuilding old cars and gardening.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa Craggs, Lusk; three daughters, Myra Craggs of Lusk, Cyndi Chambliss of Texas, and Polly Carter of Wisconsin; two brothers, Roger Craggs of Lusk, and Glenn Craggs of Erie, Colo.; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Connie Rae Collins.

A memorial has been established to cancer research.
